I have lived in the Chattanooga area all of my life. I have over 20 years experience tournament fishing area lakes and I have won numerous tournaments. I am a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Fishing is my passion and I spend all of my free time on the lake.
I fish Chickamauga Lake, Nickajack Lake, Guntersville Lake and Watts Bar Lake year round. I target largemouth bass on the lakes and smallmouth bass in the tail water of the dams. Summer and winter, when the fish are in the deeper areas of the lakes, I use my electronics to find the right locations to catch fish. Bass can be caught using a variety of baits including deep diving crank baits, swim baits, jigs, Carolina rigs blade baits, and drop shots. Spring and fall, when the fish are shallow, bass can be caught using a variety of tactics including top water, spinner baits, crank baits, jigs and plastics just to name a few. Summer is a great time to bass fish at night to avoid the heat, and it can produce some incredible action.
Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass are catch and release only! Other species including spotted bass may be kept as long as they are within the legal size limits.
I look forward to hearing from you and making your experience on the water a GREAT memory!
